about

At hOMe Yoga, our mission is simple:
To offer a welcoming and accessible studio that honors tradition, fosters community, and creates a space where every body feels at home in their practice. Through thoughtful classes, inclusive pricing, and a commitment to simplicity, we invite students to reconnect with themselves and the essence of yoga.

our vision

Our dream is to create a space that honors yoga’s roots, nurtures community, and makes the practice accessible.  At hOMe, we want every student to feel supported, at ease, and at home in their practice.

ethos

When yoga is packaged as a guarantee of peace or healing, its depth can be missed. The practice is not about chasing outcomes, but about welcoming life exactly as it is. Peace and healing may come along the way, yet they fade if they become the goal. That subtle difference is the very heart of yoga.

Yoga is a doorway, always open.

A place of return, a steady ground.

A compass pointing toward attention, steadiness, reverence, and honesty.

It is a dance with the unknown, a bow to change itself.

It is togetherness, devotion, and care made visible.

And the remarkable thing? The practice doesn’t need to be sold. It speaks for itself. A studio that makes space for this unfolding, with thoughtful teachers and a supportive environment, naturally flourishes. And so does the community around it.

At hOMe Yoga, our role is simple: to hold space for the practice to do what it already does.

meet Ashley Simonis, founder of hOMe Yoga

Ashley is a dedicated student and practitioner of yoga first and foremost. This fuels her passion for teaching. Her practice began in 2011 at a carpeted heated studio in St. Louis, MO. (Eeek!) Ashley completed her 200 hour training teacher training in 2016 with BlueBird and Southtown Yoga in St. Louis, MO where she was born and raised and currently resides and her 300 hour training in 2020 with Yoga Oasis in Tucson, AZ. She teaches classes, workshops, and teacher trainings both locally and nationally with a heavy emphasis on accessibility. Ashley studies and works closely with her teacher Darren Rhodes, founder of yogahour®.

Her gusto for these practices (and life in general) is undeniable and you’ll see that in her offerings. Ashley's mission is to get these practices off the mat (or cushion) and into the world. There's something really profound that happens when a person can bring their practice into their day to day lives.
